Janus died from a stray bullet during a robbery. In the
wrong place at the wrong time. He was guided to the soul society almost immediatly. They had high hopes for him,
since he was still young. Unfortunatly he disappointed everyone, but did well enough to make it into the academy.
After a few years in the Soul Society, Janus had began
to think it corrupt. His Captain started sending him on strange unofficial tasks. Not long after that Janus found
his captain dead, with a strange gift addressed to him. On the tag it said, "Don't open this until the right time."
It wasn't long before the Captains of the other squads found out
about the odd gift. Time went on and at first Janus would return to find his home in shambles. Theives
looking for the gift. Then one day...
